summit of Hallasan  
Hallasan is with a height of 1950 meters the highest mountain of South Korea.
The volcano is good for hiking but the last about 250 meter to the crater at
the summit Paengnoktam are sometimes forbidden area, so that nature can recover.
You need good shoes and often a raincape when you hike on Hallasan. You should
start early in the morning because there are often clouds appearing in the
afternoon and the temperature near the summit may be sursrisingly cool.
